2005
What do you do when you have an unhealthy interest in fashion and beauty? Start a blog! That’s how Fashionese Daily started. The name wasn’t Fashionese Daily at that time, but the content was more or less the the same. Hanzky needed an outlet to document her recent shopping spree, trends she likes or hate, products she’s tried, celebrity fashion mishaps and many other things.
2007
The name Fashionese Daily was born. At that time, Hanzky was still living in the States. In April, Affi joined Hanzky and strengthen Fashionese Daily beauty contents. At that time, she was still working in MAC Cosmetics as PR Manager. In May 27, Fashionese Daily forum was open for business. Now called Female Daily forum. As the first Fashion & Beauty forum in Indonesia, membership grow very rapidly. But it’s never about the quantity we’re looking for but the quality of the discussion and the member. The forum is very well moderated and we implemented a very strict approval process and wouldn’t hesitate to ban members who don’t follow the rules. It has grown into a niche community for Indonesian fashion and beauty addicts that have strong interest in the industry
2008
Hanzky went back home in August and Affi resigned her job in October. The two decided to go all out in Fashionese Daily. They worked remotely, from one coffee shop to another while networking and opening themselves to the fashion & beauty industry in Indonesia. We’re excited to be part of the hot Indonesian digital scene and contribute to the Indonesian Fashion Scene and bring it to a wider audience
2009
We finally have a small office in Bangka Raya and Vanya joined our team.
2012
Fashionese Daily has two channels now; Style & Beauty.
