I rarely use nail polish on a daily basis, unless I’m in the mood to show off my nails with bright or bold colors, or unless Syita offers to do my nails in the office.  LOL.  But you know there’s a moment when you want to paint your nails, especially with a color that is new (at least for you).

My pick goes to Wet n Wild Megalast Nail Color in the shade called Wet Cement.  This is a beautiful taupe color which is flattering on my skintone.  Usually I tend to choose bright colors or dark green and red for nails, but this one is an exception.  I love how “soft” the color is, definitely in a neutral side that goes well with any outfits. I found that this color is quite similar to Revlon Stormy.

I put two layers on my nails in the photo above.  On nails, the color looks darker.  I didn’t apply a base coat and top coat because I wanted to see how it looked like without any help. At first, the color looked shiny, but after long hours, it’s lost its shine and leaned more to semi-matte finish.  I waited for an hour to make sure it was completely dry.  But yeah, I bumped my fingers to lots of surfaces, this is so typical of me, so it was no surprise to see my nails weren’t at their best shape again.  But somehow I wish the nails won’t chipped off that easily.

Wet n Wild Megalast Nail Color retails for IDR 79,000 and you can buy it directly from their website, quite pricey for drugstore brand in my opinion.  But still, I want to try the other shade called ‘I Need a Refresh-Mint’ now.  :)  Have you tried Wet n Wild Megalast Nail Polish, ladies?  Which shade is your favorite?
